✿ | “Yeah…I was lucky that it didn’t crumble down on me.” Or else she would’ve been dead. “You’re right. She’ll go ballistic if she sees our house like this.” Once Yuzu was set down, she opens up her cell, quickly sending a text. “I’ll call her later. She must be busy at work today.”
Huh. He was willing to let her wear his clothes? Okay, that’s somewhat of a surprise there. Besides, her stuff was still in her room. Hopefully, her closet hasn’t crashed or something else unfortunate like that. “Mm…I don’t think he does. He just thought it was just one of those game systems that we teens use. Hopefully, he won’t take it again—he might try to use my demons against me.”
“Alright. I’d say tell her that your place was broken into by a bunch of people and your staying at a friends for now. I’m sure she’ll just be happy you’re safe!” Atsuro just gently ruffled Yuzu’s hair a bit.
“I see that’s good then. After all he won’t know what’s coming to him. Also don’t worry about something like that. Remember it’s your COMP and the demons are contracted to you! The only way they’ll attack you is if he breaks your COMP cause then the contract is broken understand? Also besides clean clothes anything else you want me to get from your place?”
✿ | “You’re right.” Yuzu commended, nodding in agreement. It’s not like she was lying, the girl was going to reside her for a bit–until the culprit has been caught, and the house was rebuilt. “She’s totally cool with me crashing int a friend’s place.” It would take some of the worries off her mother’s shoulders, too.
“Oh yeah…my COMP hasn’t been damaged, so the contract’s not void, huh?” Leave it to Atsuro Kihara to remember the functions of an altered COMP. (Then again, it was Naoya who gave them these devices–they were essential for survival. And thank god she was able to use one.) “Thanks, Atsuro. I really do appreciate it,” Yuzu says, putting up a small smile, despite everything that’s happened this week. “Hm…I guess you could get my phone charger–Most of my important stuff is in my bag. You can just find it in there.” Though one thing was absolute–Yuzu was grateful to have a friend like Atsuro, even if he was a complete goofball.
