I mean—although you did become King of Bel…you didn’t abuse any of your power.” And that alone was a good relief for Yuzu. “People might’ve been frightened if you actually went that way.” I’m glad that he didn’t, though… The certain change of the subject seemed to lighten up her emotions!
“Yeah…” She nods again in agreement. The idea of going out all together was pretty exciting. “That sounds like fun! Going to the beach, having fun in an amusement park…and the summer festival, too! There’s going to be a summer festival in Shiba Park in a few weeks! I’m thinking about going there this year.” Since last year, well…the Lockdown took a great toll on the redhead. (Even after it was over.)
“A festival? That sounds like a great idea,” Kazuya complimented, thinking of the many times he went to the festival as a child. Even when he was nearly an adult, the idea of playing festival games and chatting with his friends felt like a very fun opportunity that he couldn’t miss. After all, being surrounded by demon’s twenty-four seven was not his exact idea of “fun”.
“Were you planning to wear a yukata to the festival? Just curious,” Asked Kazuya, continuing to wear his friendly expression. When he thought more about the subject, he realized that he never saw Yuzu in such a thing. Did she look very beautiful in one?
✿ | A yukata for Yuzu? “…Yes,” She says, after a beat of silence. It was such a shame that she had missed it last year–the auburn wanted to make up for that. Not only would the park be lively and filled with light, but it would be fun too, right? Part of being in summer vacation was making memorable times–this could actually be one of them.
“I haven’t bought one yet, but I’m planning to.” Yuzu’s never worn a yukata in a festival before, and just thinking about it almost made her heart flutter. “Are you…planning to attend, Kazuya?” She knows that Atsuro’s going, but she’s also curious about him, too.
