After going there once, do you really think that I’d go through it again?” There’s no guarantee that she’d go again next year, not unless she was joining a group of friends, or someone like Atsuro. “Still…” A gulp. “You never left my side. And…if it weren’t for you, I don’t think I would’ve made it this far.” A small breath.
"I know I don’t say this a lot, but…" That’s when Yuzu looks up at the noir.
"…thank you, Atsuro."
Atsuro just grumbles a bit as he rubs his ear. Maybe Yuzu would have been okay on her own but hearing what she said next he just pulled his hat down over his face.
"C-Come on I told you I wasn’t gonna leave your side. Besides you were brave though out the entire thing! But umm you’re welcome."
✿ | Well, it seems like even though it was pretty scary for the girl, Yuzu was able to make it through that maze. And the best part? She made it out okay, and she had someone to help her guide it through.
“I know. I would’ve still chickened out if I was there all by myself.” In fact, who would ever go to a haunted maze in the lonesome? “Anyway, I’m glad that we both made it out quickly. So, what do you wanna do now? I still got some free time before I head back home.”
